Caryn was born and raised on St. Croix with family roots spanning hundreds of years old on the island. After living abroad in the United States and Europe, and attending graduate school at New York University, Caryn returned to St. Croix to raise a family and work.
Caryn brings a wealth of professional experience in both the private and public sectors as both a business owner and an educator. Working in the real estate industry on St. Croix since 2004, Caryn has developed a solid reputation as a broker with integrity and one who works alongside her clients and customers every step of the way. Having broad connections in the public and private sectors, Caryn has the unique ability to navigate complex transactions and solve problems quickly.

Born and raised on St. Croix, Stephanie comes from a family of multi-generational Crucians committed to the island. After receiving a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, Stephanie returned to St. Croix where she developed a career in community and economic development.
Having spent many years as the youngest Board member of the St. Croix Foundation then as its Associate Executive Director, Stephanie was responsible for such revitalization programs as Scrape, Paint, Rejuvenate, co-managed the revitalization of Sunday Market Square and wrote the Business Incubator program, in addition to successfully securing grant funding for the incubator's design and construction. Following her tenure at the Foundation, Stephanie went on to work with EDC beneficiaries and did consulting work with the Economic Development Authority.
Stephanie partnered with her sister, Caryn, in 2008, when they launched Blue Sky Real Estate. Whether you are buying, selling or leasing a property, Stephanie is pleased to help you make your real estate transaction fluid and effortless.

Loni McGackin

Loni McGackin was born and raised on this beautiful island of St. Croix.
A deep desire to travel and see what the world has to offer gave Loni the encouragement to live away from St. Croix at different increments in her life. She experienced the cultural differences of Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Florida, Vermont and overseas to Sydney, Australia. People she met along the way lead Loni to Vermont, where she earned an associate's degree in Liberal Studies and later went on to Saint Michael's College to study cultural anthropology and comparative religion, later obtaining an undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In August 2009, Loni, along with her son, Elijah, and life partner, Peter, was the first person at UMass Amherst to go study abroad with a family. They spent seven months in Sydney, Australia where they experienced a life vastly different from the one they knew on St. Croix. Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, interacting with kangaroos and koala bears, and traveling inland to hike majestic underground caves were only a small part of their exciting experience "down unda".
Loni joined the team at Blue Sky Real Estate in March 2011 and is looking forward to being a part of Blue Sky's progression in the world of real estate!

In 2000, Lisa Verhoff Stines began her career in the world of real estate as the receptionist for Coldwell Banker’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Lisa soon obtained her salesperson license and three (3) years later, her Broker’s license. Lisa opened her own real estate management and investment company in Atlanta where she continues to support her Clients with their real estate needs. Lisa enjoys helping people build their financial portfolio through real estate investments, as well as assisting them with the understanding of the Home Buying process and the benefits of home ownership.
Lisa has a strong entrepreneurial spirit with a very positive outlook on life. She is a generous, energetic individual with a delightful personality. Lisa is no stranger to St. Croix as she was raised on the island and is back living on St. Croix with her husband Abel and son Niko.
